What is the minimum age to enter a race?

Our obstacle course is built for all ages and abilities. Entrants who are 16 – 17 require a signed parental consent form which must be completed. Children above the age of 6 years to 15 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

What do I do when I arrive on site?

Please make your way to the signing in area where you will need to find the desk with the first initial of your surname, where you can be checked in. You will receive a coloured wrist band to show the wave you have selected and you will be asked to sign on before you take part.

How will the organisers know which wave I am running in?

On your booking form you will select the wave you want to compete in. At signing in, you will be given a coloured wrist band to confirm the wave you have entered.

Where and when can I view my race time results?

Our events are not timed, however you are welcome to wear a timing device of your own if you wish. More serious runners are encouraged to go in wave 1 of Go Insane events.

Will there be a safety briefing and what will it contain?

Yes, there will be a safety briefing during the warm up before your wave start time.  It will include key hazards to watch out for as well as what to do if you cannot continue or become injured.

Do you have shower facilities available on site?

At the end of the course, there are wash down facilities to get the thickest of the mud off. Please note this is cold water!!!

Can spectators come along?

Yes it is free for spectators, the more support the merrier. There will be toilets and refreshments available at every race and viewing points at some of the key obstacles.

What time do the running waves start?

When you enter online, you will choose a wave you would like to run in. The start time will be displayed at that point.

When will I receive my start time and race information pack?

Your start time will be emailed to you about 1 week before the event. Race information will be collected on the morning of the event.

Will there be a warm up?

Yes, here will be a qualified fitness instructor on hand to hold a pre race warm up before every wave of runners.

Is there Parking available?

Yes, there is free parking available on site.

Is there first aid on site?

Yes, we have fully qualified medical staff on site for all events.

Do I need to bring anything with me?

We would recommend you bring a change of clothing (including shoes), and a towel if you wish. Refreshments are available on site and reasonably priced.

Are dogs allowed?

Yes but only to spectate!! Owners must have the dog on a lead at all times and must pick up their waste.

Will there be a photographer?

Yes, we have photographers stationed around the course at certain obstacles and at the finish line. All photos will be uploaded onto facebook within a week after the event.

Is there any entertainment?

Yes, apart from the mud there will be music playing and a commentator to keep you going!!
